Denise's recent work has been on maritime themes, exploring the effects of time, tide and weather on plants and landscape.  The Welsh coast is a favourite haunt.

Collagraph is a versatile technique.  Plates can be made from a variety of re-cycled or found materials, including dried plants, as here.  The plate surface can be inked relief as well as intaglio, adding extra colour and depth.
