Photopolymer etching
900 x 600mm
£300
Kristin's work aims to show the richness that lies at our feet, especially the monifold shades of nature.
Photopolymer etching uses a thin, light-sensitive layer fixed to a plate and exposed to UV light along with a transparency made by the artist. The process produces an intaglio plate similar to those made by traditional acid etching.
Kristin Palmadottir has a BA in fine art printmaking and has worked in France and exhibitied in Germany, Spain, Greenland, Canada, the US and China.
