Gordon's latest series, concerned with conservation, access and sustainability, focuses on the importance of trees to our environment, the countryside and our well-being.  Trees lend themselves to semi-abstract and abstract treatment of their graphic nature.  The medium of print facilitates development of the image during the creation of a series by using different colour combinations.  This allows the unexpected - not by accident, but by intuition.  This series shows how effective and expressive this method can be in the hands of an experienced printmaker.
