Book Arts 2008
One of our members, Lin Charlston, is an experienced book artist with an
international reputation. She is a founder member of the group Faction and
her work is in major public collections in the UK and USA.
With Lin’s assistance, the Trust has made 2008 a book arts year. Lin has led a series of workshops and seminars on book arts themes, beginning and in Autumn 2007 and intensifying during the spring and summer of 2008. Our aim has been to challenge printmakers to move beyond their comfort zones; to explore an exciting new medium; and to expand and develop their fine art practices. The Trust has successfully encouraged participation not only by existing members of Rodd Printmakers but by newcomers to the Trust’s work.

Exhibition, 13 - 21 September 2008
Book Arts work produced during the project will be displayed during Herefordshire Art Week (h.Art). We will have display tables and stands for new book arts in the tithe barn gallery alongside the regular printmaking show.
