Printmaking @ The Sidney Nolan Trust

Outreach Fine Art Printmaking Programme

The Sidney Nolan Trust works with partner groups - usually a community/art group, a museum/gallery or secondary school - to deliver its outreach programme.  Partners provide a venue.  This can be a community or arts centre, museum or gallery, a village hall or school premises.  The Trust's tutor brings a portable etching press and all necessary materials.  The courses are aimed at adults and older school and college students and cater for up to ten participants. They are suitable for artists and non-artists alike, and for both newcomers and those wanting to brush up a rusty knowledge of printmaking.  Participants on previous courses have come from all ages and diverse backgrounds, including the disabled and minority communities.  The workshops concentrate on intaglio printmaking, especially drypoint and collagraph.

For more information and to book sessions, please contact The Sidney Nolan Trust or phone Anthony Plant on 01544 267362.
