Single exposure intaglio solar plate, printed on dampened Hahnemuhle etching paper using oil-based ink.  The colour is a mix of ocean blue and primrose, plus plate oil.

Denise drew the image on glass that had been sprayed with four coats of "Humbroil Glass Etch".  The image was drawn with a 6B graphite stick.  Some areas were then deliberately smudged, others erased to create highlights.  (NB take care not to remove the glass etch!) 

The plate was exposed for 13 mins on a clear, sunny mid-May morning.
